Our Mission

The Brookline Parent Education Network (B-PEN) is an engaging outreach initiative that partners with Brookline school PTOs and administrators to support parents and caregivers. B-PEN provides resources and programming to help families navigate the complex social, emotional, and developmental challenges facing today’s teens and pre-teens, challenges that all young people experience in some form, and which can sometimes lead to risky behavior.

Our goal is to help parents and caregivers feel more connected—whether it’s by building community with other families, accessing school and town resources, or finding reliable information on a wide range of teen-related concerns through our written and digital materials.
